Proverbs 16:3
I’ve had friends in my life that didn’t feel complete or didn’t feel that they were doing the Lord’s work because they didn’t have a title like “Pastor” or “Deacon” or “Missionary”.
My heart has always broken for them because obviously not everyone is going to be on a church board or have a title in front of a bunch of people.
This doesn’t mean that your work that you do for God means any less!
Imagine the church as a body how it is described in the Bible.
Some people might have more obvious jobs, like the eyes or mouth, but the pinky toe is just as important!
Without balance, we can’t move forward.
A body can’t walk properly without toes!
We all have to work together to keep the entire body functioning properly.
We won’t all have the more flashy titles or the jobs with obvious recognition, but we can’t be worried about that.
We must continue to do all things as we’re doing them for Christ.
Even going to your job on a daily basis, you can make a difference in the lives of the people you come in contact with.
