You Are Not Defeated | Christian Daily Devotional

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

Sometimes we feel defeated.

Whether the mundane parts of daily life get to us, our day in and day out responsibilities, jobs, etc. start to weigh us down, we can always look back to this scripture.

God gives us hope that we can make it through anything because the victory already belongs to us through faith in Jesus Christ.

God is a God of 11^th hour miracles so even when all seems lost, just keep the faith and God will come through for you.

Sometimes we don’t understand what is going on, but most of the time in hindsight we can see God’s hand working for us and keeping us the entire time we were struggling. 

• Prayer:  God please help me to focus on you in the midst of all of my battles.  Help me to know that you have already given me victory in Jesus Christ and help me to be assured that the victory is on its way.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
